Anika and Dalton's Peace Arch Wedding
Covid has certainly thrown everyone in the wedding industry for a loop but add border closure to your fiancé on top of that and you have a whole other ball game. Anika and Dalton were one of the unfortunate couples to experience a border separation during their engagement. After many twists and turns, September came and they celebrated their love in a ceremony at Peace Arch Park.
Along with the help of the amazing team at Elyse & Co. we pulled together one of the most beautiful outdoor weddings we have been a part of!
Anika chose the most gorgeous dress with a to die for puff sleeve cape from Park and Fifth Co.
This incredible backdrop was designed and brought to life by Lauren’s Team and Elyse & Co! Such a stunning statement that truly set their wedding apart.
Anika’s bridesmaids wore rust coloured bridesmaid dress in various styles tying in all the colour’s in their palate.
Anika’s bouquet was comprised of Phal Orchids, Toffee roses, Quicksand roses, and anthuriums. Anika also foraged all of her pampas grass from people’s yards!
We went for an asymmetrical look for the backdrop with the bottom pieces in white ceramic vases. The vase arrangements we then got to transition to the reception.
These beautiful macroons and cake were made by the talented Cake First.
These incredible captures were done by the talented Lilly Ann Photography! Can’t wait to work with her again!
