Abby and Brock's Forest Wedding
Last July we were fortunate to be a part of Abby and Brock’s beautiful forest wedding at Heron’s Bridge!
Abby’s vision for florals was dusty blue and greens with neutral pops of white.
For the groom’s boutonniere we did a blue Echinops, a white Spray Rose, and Italian Ruscus to tie it all together!
All of the bridal party bouquet packaged up and ready to go!
Abby and Brock chose to get married in the forest portion of Heron’s Bridge and incorporate the natural beauty of trees into their ceremony. This sign was a perfect accent to the entrance of the ceremony location.
For Abby’s bridal bouquet, we went with a loose organic shape. She chose Panda Anenomes, Quicksand Roses, Blush Ranunculus, and Echinops to be paired with Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, Dusty Miller, and Italian Ruscus. The contrast between the Quicksand Roses and Echinops made the flowers more dimensional as well as cohesive with the boutonniere choices.
The absolute star of the show was this floral tree we created. We covered the tree as a backdrop to the ceremony instead of a traditional arch. To make it look as organic as possible we used chicken wire to give it a sweeping fairytale feel!
The couple even incorporated a custom sign within the tree as a personal touch.
We were very happy with how this turned out and Taryn Stare captured it perfectly!
Taryn got these gorgeous shots on the ground of beautiful Heron’s Bridge.
For the cake flowers, we just carried over similar tones to those in the bridal bouquet to create a cohesive look. The cake featured Echinops, Roses, and Lisianthus with Italian Ruscus.
Thanks so much Abby and Brock for including us in your special day and to all the wedding vendors that made it possible!
